Poll: Does the Amnesia editor work for you?

Please tell me how I am supposed to unpack/unzip with winrar for the editor files? I also really want to know where to put those files???

My computer does not have "Amnesia-TheDarkDescent\dist\"

It has "Amnesia\Main\" and then other things in the main file like my profile, first_start_flag, hpl, hpl_update, and main settings.

I tried at least 20 times and wasted over 2 hours on getting it to work, so this was my last chance. I love Amnesia and all of it's effects. If I had this editor working, I would work on making the best of the games. I hear that there are basically no problems with downloading the editor on the forums and that making a room is fast and easy and fun.

The redist folder is where you installed Amnesia, not in your "My documents" folder.

I got Amnesia off of steam...

Do you know where the redist file is?

steam/steamapps/common/amnesia the dark descent/

It says it can't find it... maybe it doesn't exist... Sad

So just search for amnesia.exe, that's where you put the editor files.

It says Amnesia without the ".exe"

It also wouldn't let me put the files in there.

So lets back up, do I put it in the "amnesia the dark decent" folder, or do I put it in the "Amnesia" folder that is in the other folder?

You put it in the redist folder, the same folder that amnesia.exe & launcher.exe, and a bunch of other files and folders, is in.
