Official info on retail release in Western Europe?

Hey,

although I preordered and bought Amnesia via Frictional's digital store, are there still any plans to release a boxed version in Western Europe? You guys had publishers for Penumbra Overture and Black Plague, the "Collection" DVD as well. Any negotiations with those for a Amnesia release?

I really would like to buy it a second time to get a DVD version and I guess some folks would rather get a physical copy anyway. As I never heard anything about the success of the retail versions of Penumbra, I was wondering if there is any official word on this subject for Amnesia.

I'd really like a physical copy of the game. Much nicer. Smile

I have a digital copy, but I would buy a collector's edition as well. I would feel quite proud to display Amnesia among my collection of games =)

I'm mostly a digital purchase guy, but I get the retail collector's editions for a few special games.

I agree with you.

if you want to make a boxed vertion of the game you know what to do : A WII PORT !

same for xbox 360 : make xboxlive vertion of the game, only.

I too hope Amnesia gets a retail release. I'd certainly buy it, as would many other people.

I really don't care about physical copies of games. Those are going to go extinct in the next decade anyways, so people still clinging to packaged over digital are just living in the old.

What I would LOVE to have though, is Amnesia merchandise, like a poster, or T-shirt.
