Horrible Lag Issues - Have tried the stickied solution

First of all, I want to say how amazing of a game Amnesia is. It's nearly flawless - one of the most horrifying/exciting games of all time.

Here's my issue. I will run at an awfully low FPS for no apparent reason. I've turned every setting and the resolution to as low as it can get.
I have met the system requirements and updated my drivers. I have a Nvidia Geforce 6150SE nForce 430 and 3gb of RAM.

There are no background applications that cause me to run slowly. I perform fine in games such as World of Warcraft, but even at the lowest settings possible Amnesia lags at around 5 fps and makes it very hard to play and at times unenjoyable. Any solutions for this?

				Have you checked issue B?
http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-3754.html
My first guess is that you try and disabled Aero for Windows and then try to run the game.

Yes. See title. "Have tried the stickied solution."
Aero is not on my computer and has never been.
Any other things I can do?

Check that you turned down SSAO samples to 16 or so and use medium resolution.
If so, is there anything at all that gives you higher FPS? Or do you have low fps even if running at 640x480 with low settings? I am not saying you should run the game at this setting, but if you mess around you might be able to see what feature(s) it is that is the culprit. When that is done, we can probably help out more.

Also make sure to install patch:

My settings are on the lowest settings possible - resolution, SSAO, etc.

				Very strange..

Did you try a full driver re-installation? As in download new, uninstall, reboot, install new, reboot?

Perhaps there is a secondary card messign with you.

Could you attaching hpl.log and main_settings.cfg found in "My Documents/Amnesia/Main"

I installed the patch, and tried full driver re-install.

I couldn't locate the main_settings.cfg - where is it?

I've turned SSAO off, shadows off and I still lag horribly. I have set the game to the lowest graphical settings possible.

This may help.

The hpl.log file you attached was not correct. Look in "My Documents/Amnesia/Main". You will find main_settings.cfg there too.
