I recently purchased Amnesia from Steam, and I seem to have run into a glitch that flips the screen upside down. In response, I updated my driver (ATI Radeon HD 3600 series) and even turned the sanity effects off. This worked for the most part, but now the screen only flips during scripted events and when I am looking at a monster. Help would be appreciated.

It is most likely still a driver issue. Do you own a laptop?

Then make sure that you have downloaded the latest driver from the ATI website. Also make sure to uninstall the current driver and reboot before installing the new driver.

Also attach hpl.log from "My Documents/Amnesia/Main"

Just bought the game from Steam and am experiencing the same glitch. I'm also using an ATI card (ATI Radeon HD 3870), and my computer's a 32 bit Windows XP.

I've attached a zipped copy of my saved game and the hpl file, hopefully these will help with identifying the problem.
Forgive me, I should have looked at the Troubleshooting Guide first. As you say in A part 1, I'm pretty surprised because my old 3870 works fine with my other games. Oh well, I guess Amnesia's worth getting a new card for.

Drivers are old and need to be updated. That is the problem. Should be no need for new card! Smile
