Freezes

I attached my hpl document as requested. I get to the main menu just fine but when I hit continue it drops to 0-21 fps and then freezes while loading the game. It causes my whole computer to freeze to the point where the task manager won't even come up and I have to manually shut down my computer. What settings do I need to put the game on in order for it to run? Thanks.
