UK based Pro-G has posted their preview of Penumbra: Overture. Warning, contains some puzzle spoilers.

"While Frictional might not have the budget to compete with the big boys, early impressions of Penumbra suggest that the game is going to provide players with a rather different gaming experience."

The spoilers in this one are alot bigger than in the previous topic, this one tells you how to stop certain enemies from getting to you.
But this is looking faily decent so far.
Sometimes, if you look carefully at a wall for a few minutes, you'll realize you wasted some time.  It's true.

Is it just me or at the end of the review it sounds like the writers wanted a better combat system to kill the enemies better -.-

Well, some people don't understand that you don't have to kill the monster in order to 'win'. They'd rather have an auto-targeting 9000rounds per minute sniper rifle with unlimted ammo that shoots through walls.

RE: 2007-01 Monday 29th, Pro-G Preview
yes sad as it
but i guess when most games promote it that way i can see why
(before some one brings up examples to contradict this yes the are few games that don't eg thief series)
