Force a video resolution / aspect ratio?

Hey all, I'd like to know how to force a resolution in amnesia to 4800 x 1200, since i have three monitors and cannot set the aspect ratio in the settings to 16:9 like i do with other games using Softth, my main video card is a 9800gtx+ and my secondary is a 7200gs, I usually have no problem with other games using softth, but i cannot seem to find the aspect ratio in the settings.


also, Holy crap, I have to force myself to play this game. I'm still in the jail part D: I guess i'm not good at horror games, ha

OS: win xp sp2 64bit
is the log really needed for this type of problem?

I used to do this with Penumbra Tech Demo, since game crashed everytime I tried to change any of the settings, so I had to do the resolution change manually.

I don't have Amnesia installed so I cannot check what is the file called but I think you find it out by reading this:
Go to the folder where ever you installed Amnesia and open up "settings" file (if it's called that, it's that on Penumbra's case) into your notebook, and search the resolution part and then just insert what ever resolution you want and save the file.

I tried this, and it defaults back to 1600 x 1200.

Hmm. that worked for me. There are several cfg files that are present. Perhaps they all need to be changed.

No. You need to change the settings in My Documents/Amnesia/Main.
