Help: Glitch lines up screen

When I play i get these wierd lines running up the screen.
I don't know how to fix them.

I meet all the necessary requirements (Graphics card: Nvidia 8600 GT) and i even tried running in lowest Setting but i still get these lines up the screen there probably 50-100 pixels tall and right across the screen they change in colour depending on what was last on the screen.
And they go to the top of the screen the disappear for a few seconds then it repeats. and the go from bottom to top again.

Try downloading new drivers from nvidia.com and then uninstall the older driver, reboot and install the new driver. This to make sure all files are properly replaced.
