Hi I need some help choosing the best settings for these games. I have 512mb video ram.

The screens native resolution (2000 x 1400 or something) is to high for my graphicscard to handle, I have tried a few things but could anyone give a few tips?

Also penumbra seems to "flicker" or tear vertically. That seems to be the biggest problem i get with these games.

Thanks in advance.
sorry i mean 27" not 25"

Can you provide more details on your system? Specifically which video card? and what speed processor? You can get this information by going to the "Apple" menu and choosing "About this Mac" and clicking on "More Info..."

Most likely you will not be able to run at that high of resolution for amnesia at all due to the limited graphics memory you have.

As for Penumbra "flickering" that is unfortunately due to Penumbra not supporting Vertical Sync on Mac OS X. The latest (1.0.1) version of Amnesia does supports vertical sync.

You should be able to run settings on high with that computer, for resolution try using 1920 x 1080 or 1650 x 1050 instead.
