Unused Items *spoilers*

Is it unusual that, by the end of the game, I have a couple items that I never used at any point throughout the game? I found a Wood Crank on a shelf (I think from the Morgue, but not entirely sure), and I had the Iron Bar from breaking out of the cell once I was captured, and never used either of them.

RE: Unused Items *spoilers*

The same thing happened to me with the wooden crank on my first playthrough, however...

In the control room before entering the sewers, there is a door that you have to lift by turning a valve. Once you complete all puzzles in the area and try to turn the valve again, it will break and you will have to use the crank instead. It didn't happen on my first playthrough though, so I kept the crank until the end while wondering what it was supposed to be used for.

Ah, see, before I went through, I used wooden boxes to jam it open as a safety measure. Big Grin Any idea on the Iron Bar, though?

Yep.
Used in the prison in order to destroy the wall (alternate solution is to use the hammer and chipper).
You can also use it to get the key (alternate solution is to use the bucket of water).
I had the bucket of water at the end of my game as well as the wooden crank.

Lol, wow, I just broke the bar off and jumped on the table, and then through the hole in the wall. Okay, thanks guys. Tongue

I only noticed the breakable wall after it broke on itself when I escaped the cell through the bars Tongue
