But there is really no use at the moment.
If we can't animate the hand and/or lantern, there is no way we can import it.
you can animate, I looked over the tools and stuff its all there... just gotta do it, its dicky... but do-able.... have you ever tried modding for battle for middle earth? trust me... its there in the tools, you need maya and that addon thing mentioned on the wiki and the model editor with the SDK

officially you cant get maya free anymore >.>
but I may know a way to get the old on
check out softonic for autodesk maya 2009 and you should get a downloader program, mines downloading right now

RE: Penumbra flashlight in Amnesia?

so whats the issue?
I'm guessing you cant import the skeleton for the hand too animate?
cause the whole animation is on the arm, not the lantern, the lantern is simply a child object in code
the swaying and stuff is all in code when you move

I know DIGI, I also do 3d work and I've seen how it works for I imported the animations.
However, when exporting it, you don't see anything in-game.

Awesome, looks perfect. *hi 5* is it possible too tweak it so it has a lil glare or bloom on things?
so it looks more like a flashlight instead of someone painting black over the screen

I'll be working on the flashlight model tonight and uploading a few screen shots
