Map won't show up anywhere?

I used the level editor to make a map as shown in MulleDK19's Tutorials, but the Map will not show up in the Map folder.
I saved it multiple times, renamed it, but it just won't show up in the folder. Can anyone tell me what is wrong with it?

Just a quick thought, have you tried searching for your maps on your computer? yourmap.map Might be saving somewhere else.

I will try that, but when saving the map over level editor I made sure that it is in the map folder of custom_Stories.

Edit: I searched for the map but its not coming up. But when I Go to the level editor and go "Open" the map is in the folder where I saved it to.

take a look at the directory that the map is saved in, you maybe looking in the wrong hard drive or your search isn't including that location

Okay, so APPARENTLY Amnesias Folder doesn't like me very much. When I tried to put up notepads for the scripting and all that, it wouldn't let me. All I could create was another folder.
Outside of the Amnesia Folder, it would work.
So now I saved my map somewhere outside of Amnesia, and it appears. I can now just drag it into the folder.

But why does it do that? Why won't it allow me to create anything but a folder in the amnesia folders?

you might not have administrative privileges in the amnesia folder to create/save files

I have the same thing with my C:\ root directory...

Okay, now I try to start the custom story and suddenly the game says it crashed, showing me a lot of .dll files that seem to not function properly. Any idea what might have happened there?

ok, that's strange...
honestly it has me stumpted, it sounds like a permission problem, are you the main account on that computer? if not you should try running it on an account with full admin rights
