Mouse Scroll

We added use of mousescroll kinda late so it is entirely undocumented, did anyone use it though?

It is not 100% perfect but might help in certain situations. Please share your thoughts so that we know what to do in the next episode.

RE: Mouse Scroll

When grabbing objects you can pull em closer / further by scrolling the mouse.

RE: Mouse Scroll

I noticed it. Pretty handy little feature. Works flawlessly too.

BTW, is it possible to rotate objects held in player's hand?

RE: Mouse Scroll

I accidently found it, and it's pretty nice. When using heavier objects you slow down as it gets closer.
Even though it should be harder to run when it's farther from you than closer.

Sometimes, if you look carefully at a wall for a few minutes, you'll realize you wasted some time.  It's true.

RE: Mouse Scroll

Well I did some timed runs and they all seem to fall close to the same time almost all the time just about .1 Second off
so the same speed close to you as well far from you unless you meant some thing different
but the object get to the destination quicker then your body if it was far from you Wink

BTW the scroll wheel i find i used in placing objects where i want them a bit more accurately then trying to move the whole body the realign the angle

RE: Mouse Scroll

This was one of the most positive differences between tech demo and this new demo. I used it all the time (and loved every moment using it). Smile

RE: Mouse Scroll

Try using one of the rocks from the wolf area, than when it's close to your body it makes the charecter barely move.
