Debug menu

I tweaked all the config files as it is said on the wiki. And I do indeed get a wireframe on objects in sight + several variables and values in the top left of my screen.

But when I hit F1, all I get is a mouse pointer and nothing like a menu.
What am I doing wrong?

Now, I made a second "normal" profile and swapped between them once. Now it works for the dev_user.

This makes no sense at all.. but ah well, it works.

I am also having this problem on my laptop. It seems like the menu just isn't appearing (hence the mouse cursor).

Also, whenever I hit escape, it brings up the profile selection box (in the middle of a game!), I select "dev_user" (again!) and then it brings up the pause screen... wierd!

Also, to add to what Tottel posted above, the mouse sensitivity is jacked up to 5, and "invert mouse" and "smooth mouse" are checked (both of which I have set OFF in every config file, so where's that coming from???)

It's like it's ignoring my config files and setting crazy values for everything.
