Unused acid pot in storage room...

I understand that this issue has been discussed earlier but I still can't find an answer to my problem. Somehow, I never had to used my pot of acid on my way out of the lab, and I therefore have a big problem in the storage room to make the explosive. I should use the chemistry pot to collect the liquids but it is still full of unused acid!

Is there a way to get rid of the acid? Or anything that I can do other than restarting a new game?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
