Solved: 8 Years, 9 Months ago ATI x850 supported ?

Hi guys.
I'm having trouble running the game with this card (ATI x850)
I checked system requirements before buying the game.....

Minimum System Requirements For Windows
Operating System: Windows XP/Vista/7
CPU: 1.5Ghz – Low budget CPUs such as Celeron or Duron processor
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Graphics: Radeon 9600/GeForceFX – Integrated graphics and very low budget cards might not work.

The Radeon 9600 was released a long time before the x850, so I assumed there would be no problems running this game.

Everything works fine except the "flickering lights when moving" I've spent the best part of today trying all solutions suggested on this forum but the flickering persists.

Patched to 1.01 and tried the Omega drivers but then get the render 0 crash.

I've tried everything I know and am unable to get rid of the flicker.
So is it supported or not ?

I notice there's a list of verified graphics cards for Penumbra...

Is there a list for Amnesia ?

Its not supported, but I think some users have managed to get rid of the flickering, not sure how.

Where did you find those requirements?

Disc Space: 500MB

Any info on this ? I was wondering if any of the Penumbra solutions might work for Amnesia ie: versions of OpenGL. I just spent the best part of the day trying to get Amnesia working (supported or not) it's just that damn flicker drives me nuts.

anyways, I've just ordered the Penumbra Collection, should keep me going until i upgrade my dated pc Wink

Yea Steam says For Windows

OS: Windows XP/Vista/7
Processor: 1.5Ghz - Low budget CPUs such as Celeron or Duron needs to be at about twice the CPU speed
Memory: 1 GB
Hard Drive: TBD
Graphics: Radeon 9600/GeForceFX - Integrated graphics and very low budget cards might not work.

But for Mac It shows

OS: Mac OS X 10.5.8 or newer
Processor: 2.0Ghz
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Graphics: Radeon X1000/GeForce 6 (Integrated Intel Graphics not supported)
Hard Drive: 2GB space free

Pretty Close to The requirements on amnesiagame.com
