Issue with installing the patch

I believe I have a problem with installing the patch. In which folder should it be installed? The obvious answer would "in the same folder you installed the Amnesia duh!" however it seems that even if I do put it in the "Amnesia" folder it all gets installed into a file called "redist" (or something like that).

Now in my version there is no such folder so what happens is that along with the config folder and all the other folder there is a new fodler added called redist. Inside of this new folder I see another config folder, a main folder, a maps fodler etc.... correct me if I 'm wrong but shouldn't all that be in the original folder and not in the redist folder?

Simplest solution: copy-paste the lot to the original Amnesia Folder.
Problem is: it prompts me to fill in the keygen/code and the version I have (bought in the cz) doesn't come with such a code.
Bottom line: What am I to do?

Did you buy it from Steam?
If so, Steam version is already updated.

Nope, if only it were so simple. I bought it in Game shop in Prague,Czech republic (Andel to be specific )

If it's retail, then most probably it's already been updated.
Try to see what writes at the beginning of hpl.log, which is in Documents/Amnesia/Main

What should I be looking for in the hpl.log? Something like "version 1.0.1"?
