Hello Member's&Guest's

I have a simple question,

What are the -Highest- Setting's i can make in POverture?
There are several options that i dont know, like:

Shadows ON/OFF/Only Static What is Only Static? What is the best?
Noise filter ON/OFF
Bloom ON/OFF
Motion blur ON/OFF
VSync ON/OFF
Texture filtering Trilliner/Biliner
Anistroping x2/x4/x8/x16/OFF
Anti-aliasing x2/x4/OFF
Depth of fields ON/OFF

That's it,
Please mention what is the best set.

I believe that if you set shadows to be only static, it shows shadows on unmovable objects but objects that you can pick up, such as rocks and barrels won't have them.

And about the best settings, set everything to be ON and use Trilinear filtering.

Hi Scraper,

Thank's for ur answer.

Can u be more specific?
For example what about:
Anistroping (x2/x4/x8/x16/OFF)
Anti-aliasing (x2/x4/OFF)
What should i do with this 2 option's?
What (Noise filter ON/OFF) is?
What (Bloom ON/OFF) is?

Like I said, turn everything ON and use the highest numbers for best looking results (in this case: x16 and x4).

For more information regarding the effects, you can read the Wikipedia page about both, Noise Filter and Bloom.

Anistropic filtering makes textures still look clear when viewed at odd angles (You want this set to 16x)
Anti Aliasing decreases jagged edges on objects by increasing the resolution and using some other trickery.
Noise filter would overlay the game with a simple noise effect to make it look a bit grainy. (Or remove it, I never really checked what the case was) Personal preference if you want it on or off. (I'm just guessing here)
Bloom is an effect that changes the intensity of light if you just came out of a dark area I think, or maybe I'm getting it confused with HDR. You can check wikipedia if you want, I probably got some details wrong.

oh and Vsync locks the framerate at a specific number to stop screen tearing. Only enable this if you have to, or want to keep the FPS down to save the GPU the effort.
