Does anyone have experience with rope areas? The wiki won't allow access to the one page with info on it. I've tried it out with...weird results. I'm trying to make a rope hold something up and then let it go and dangle when i pass an area.

RE: Ropes

Check the transept map. It has a really good example

Anyway, you will need a rope node and a pos node.

Connect those two together and you have a rope. I suggest you to take a look at the map though, it helped me a lot.

Yeah, I've already got it to work, but I can't figure out how to set it to freeze in an upward position, and then let go afterward. I'll look at that though.

Well, if you checked the Transept map. Then you'll see it's attached to the cage.

You could try to add an impulse to the object, and then the rope should move with it since it's attached to the object.

RE: Ropes

I tried the impulse too before, that was also wanky...

I'll figure something out. Undecided
What's the difference between Impulse and Force anyway? I know what they REALLY are irl, but in this case impulse seems to act just like force, ie. there's no time variable for impulse.
