I dont think anyone knows exactly what was in the other world. Correct me if i am wrong though.

Perhaps they do, but I'd imagine their intention is for you, the player, to fill in the blanks for yourself. Although the game DOES provide some clues: "spiraling towers, endless deserts and impossible geometry".

In my mind's eye, I see it as a mix of MC Escher-Style buildings and the Sandworm Desert in Beetlejuice.
