Also, did the monster really call me a c-u-n-t? That's what it sounded like

Surprisingly enough, yes it did!
The line (taken from the subtitle) is: "I will kill you - you ****."
I feel the need to repost the contents of 003.pdf:

There are a lot of things to take care of before we can get started. I will need to
clean out the basement and prepare for the cabinet. Clarice shall be occupied with arranging a dinner party, to keep her and the rest of the help from interfering. Also, if executed correctly the party may act as an alibi if the police should turn up and start asking questions.
I still have doubts about the cabinet and what it may come to reveal. I feel like I am trying to rationalize something truly perverted, yet I would only be lying to myself if I didn’t admit feeling excited about the possibilities. I shall remind myself that this is an unmatched opportunity and that if I pass, I will forever wonder how it would turn out.
I need help, but I would be creating witnesses. This may be too risky. Would it be better to have Clarice help me? Would that even be possible, with all that heavy lifting and rigging? Come to think of it, there is one part she would be perfect for. There is very little time and getting lost in the details will not serve me at all. There are too many uncertainties. As Malo would phrase it; I will have perform this a piacere.

Yeah - we can save Felix and Hector (numbers 2 and 3), but not Victor (number 1). Although you can bypass the area without killing him, his "saved" dialogue does not activate.
