Do you have all of the latest updates on the system? You are basically on the bare, bare, minimum of requirements.
And does it happen if you just stand there and don't move? or is only when you hit a certain area in the level?

Multiple Macs running 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, and 10.9.
Linux, 8-core AMD, 8GB RAM, Fedora 18, nVidia 450 1GB

Hello,

I have a similar problem. The game (demo) just freezes randomly (the last time just after launching) and I have to switch computer off.

My mac:
PPC G5 2x2 GHz
RAM: 2,5 GB
Graphic card: ATI Radeon 9800 PRO (128 MB VRAM), but tested also with NVidia 5200 64 MB RAM with similar results
System: Leopard 10.5.8 with all the patches

I wonder if it's a PPC-related problem, or the graphic card is too weak?

Possibly a little of both.. old outdated drivers is really the BIG issue going on there.

I ran the thing through quite a bit of testing on a Powerbook G4 (the Oct 2005 model) 17" display and an ATI 9700. It ran on that system.. but I had to have everything at minimum.

As apple is no longer providing any updates for the PPCs in terms of graphics drivers, there isn't much that can be done, as there were some issues with the graphics drivers themselves that were fixed in snow leopard. I did as much as could be done to workaround them for that system however (the only PPC I had access to aside from the Mac Mini which only had an ATI 7000, which was no where NEAR capable of running the game)

Well, I guess I won't play it on my Mac. I have to try a Windows or Linux demo, as the game seems to be great. Thank you anyway for the reply!
