digital format

i was wondering how the digital version works. do you download and play it like the tech demo or is it run through a host like gametap?

It works pretty much like the tech demo.

For GamersGate you download an application that downloads the game for you and installs it aswell. All your bought games are saved and you can download them as many times as you like (almost, downloading / installing many times during a short period is not allowed).

If you've used Steam it works pretty much just like that, only it's not as well known and I've noticed Steam seems to have better download speeds.

i think i might wait for it to be available here (not until after 5/1/07). for some reason i feel wary about downloading it. i think i can wait, though. maybe. i don't know.
