Steam official Group?

What do we need to do to get steam official group? Who decides is there going to be one? Do developers pay for it?

There is an unofficial steam users group already, just search Amnesia: The Dark Descent

I think Steam upgrades normal groups to official ones.
Same way as with YouTube-Partners:
The developer makes a request and Valve accepts or declines it.

Heh, I doubt they'd be in chat in the group - otherwise anytime they played a game one of us would screech "GETTTT BACK TO WORK JENSSSSS!"
