Doing primitive models for learning purposes

Hi,

This is my first post in this forums, so I want to start with introducing myself. My name is Yaşar Arabacı. I live in Turkey. Nowadays I got curious about 3D modeling, and I am learning it by following tutorials, and mostly by doing it. I want my work do some good. So I would like my models used by modders. But, I also want to say that I am at the early stages of learning so I may not be able to do complex models, so please don't be disappointed if I can't make what you might ask for. I am clearly making no commitment to a project, instead I just offer my humble help.

I already did 2-3 models, which is being used by an amnesia mod my friend making. I am posting screenshots here so you can see what stage I am in the 3D modeling.

By the way, I am modeling with blender and exporting it as dae file. You should be able to convert it to entity in order to use it. I am not converting my models to entity format.

So, shortly, I am expecting some modeling request, which will help me improve my modeling and will help you improve your mods.

Have a good day Smile

Hi & welcome Yaşar;
I must say that Frictional community needs lots of modelers nowadays, so I think your good work (as it can be seen from the screens) will come in handy for many Smile

Woah those models look great! They don't look like they're made from an early stage modeler Tongue

You should have seen my first model before I gave up modeling;

Spoiler below!

Well... Thanks to you both Smile I didn't think I would get such great comments about them *shy smiley*. I guess the key point is in the texturing the models right. Other than that I just put couple of cubes to scene.
Ahh, I also got this one, one of the earliest that I made. I had tried to make it low poly, so it is a little bit edgy.

of course, texturing is what makes them look good and fit in a game, custom story etc...
