Problems with sharing my story...

hey guys,

I emailed my friend my custom story, but he keeps getting a VERY old version of it.. When I play it on my computer I get the newest type and he gets the oldest type but I share him the same files and everything. It's very frustrating please help

Are you sending him the files seperately or do you have it compressed into one file?

Either way, just have your friend delete the files associated with your story, then do a fresh install of it.

i sent my friend a copy that im pretty sure works, I tried the copy and it worked on my comp so (fingers crossed) i hope it works

It could be because there was a cache. You should remove everything but the map and it's script.
Delete the cache stuff.

He should delete the map cashes and also the maps/cashes from this folder:

C:\Users\-HIS-USER-NAME-\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Amnesia - The Dark Descent or whatever folder Amnesia is into.

ooook I think its clear! map caches goodbye, I'll get back to you on if it works or not... prob will though
