What do I need to do to make these custom sounds?
What I do to record sounds for diaries is record my microphone on a program called audacity, which is a free program. This program allows you to export sounds in .ogg files which Is the file formats used in diaries. I'm not sure about the file formats used for enemies though.
Thanks, and it seems like enemies use .snt or am i wrong? But you're right, diaries are .ogg so I'll download Audacity in the meantime.

.snt files are simply property files to the .ogg files. They can be opened by any text editor.

RE: Amnesia 101
Hello, I was wondering how to make a flashback effect? what are the functions for starting a flashback and ending one?
EDIT:
and how to make the very first 10 seconds of amnesia, when you're stumbling around after you drank the potion.
thanks!

RE: Amnesia 101
SLAMnesia: I'll add a section for flashbacks. The first part of Amnesia is a cinematic sequence. You can create one using switch functions and the faint/wake-up link I provided. The functions you find in that post can be used to create the effect you're looking for.

palistov: In addition to the billboard guide by Kyle, Khyrpa posted one a while back. In the wakeup section you could post the example by DamnNoHtml in which he made an intro script for waking up.

I don't think the intro that DamnNoHtml made was good at most, but it does help novices with an introduction if they have no clue on how to make one indefinately.

I would think a video would be a little better than the post I made.
