I didn't test it or anything, so I didn't meant how it works in game.

So for the Pow2 error I kinda fixed it by resizing all .jpg files to a *2 value (..., 1024*1024, 2048*2048, ...). About performance: I use it, no lag. I like it! It does need optimisation but it is a well made model in my eyes (because I can't model at all...).
