Software needed

Hey people!

I was wondering what software to use in order to make my own entities and things.

Also would the demo of Adobe Photoshop CS6 be good for making skyboxes? Does it have a usage time limit? I hope not -.-

RE: Software needed

Blender or Maya should take care of making your own models, but I should warn you, it could take days to get one working and I personally try to avoid all that modelling and stuff. By the way, I heard people say that it's easier to export the entity or model from Maya but you need to buy Maya, and Maya is very expensive. ^^

You could go to Autodesk.com and see if you could get your hands on a education license.
And download the .DAE exporter so you can export your model to a .DAE format.
