Solved: 8 Years, 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago Invisible Items?

got to the machine room. The coal was there but invisible, happened to pick it up on accident. I got past the puzzle but I thought I'd let you know.

EDIT: Also I still have the handdrill and the hollow needle. I'm not sure I'm supposed to?
