We dont plan on ditching it, but we are getting into some complex redesigning of the HPL engine. So it wont be coming out VERY soon, but we will keep you all updated!

RE: "The Attic" (Chapter 2) Custom Story
.....I might not be the best mapper in the world, but I am advanced on how to map, and script
http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thr...l#pid98891
Might not be my best work, but it does show that I can make a map, (without have a plan) . I'll be releasing the full map in a little bit, (may be a day or two), then you can see how I can map.
P.M for details.

RE: "The Attic" (Chapter 2) Custom Story
as long as you have creativity, patience, and you know your way around the level editor mapping is very easy, it just takes an insane amount of time. actually learning how the level editor works takes 2 hours max, and once you know that as long as you have good ideas and lots of patience it'll most likely turn out good. but when i say you have to have patience, mean you have to REALLY have patience. i'm talking like 20-50 hours per map if you want them to end up really good. for example, i spent like 3 hours on one map just putting books on book shelves. i'm busy with my own map right now so i can't help you, but i hope you find someone
