Dark screen, tried many solutions

So yeah, I've searched the forums, found many solutions but none seem to be working for me.
I have the most common problem - game menu loads, intro starts (just the text is visible), proper game starts... and its pitch black, only with a dot in the middle of the screen. Inventory works fine.

So, here are my specs:

Laptop brand: HP Pavilion G7 (Yes, I did read the bit for HP laptops... but its not for G7's is it? I dont want to mess things up)
OS: Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core i3-2310M @ 2.1GHz
RAM: 4GB
Screen resolution: 1600x900

Please help? I really wanted to have another go at this game.

EDIT: I did have a quick look into the HPL log again. It says that my version of OpenGL is 3.0. And then:
Also, i just noticed that i have Radeon on board. Weird, it states everywhere that its really intel.

Notice 3: The game does not officially support Intel graphics cards since most of them use older versions of OpenGL 2.1. The only Intel cards that work are Intel HD 2000 (OpenGL 2.1) and Intel HD 3000 (OpenGL 3.0) cards.

And since:

--> If it says Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family then due to bad Intel drivers your card does not support the game at the moment.

Well, it does not say that.

One more thing. I have an option "Configure switchable graphics" on my laptop. Tried to change Amnesia from none to high and low performance. Did not change a thing...

For Intel HD and AMD graphics or to play the game with Intel HD card make sure that it is updated using the have disk method as said here:
