X1200 Help

Hi my name is Danielle,

I have a problem with the game. The floor eats itself and the lights flicker like theres no tomorrow. I bought this game as a hardcopy.

In theory i can run the game on max settings and be able to run it perfectly and smooth but its the complete opposite. I can put it on max settings and still run fine but with the lights spazing out and the ground messing up it causes to much lag so i get frame rate drop. Anyone know what to do? I have been playing games for ages, I have done all the checks my graphics drivers are up to date.

Go into the game and shut off all the post effects. Try again after that. As for the lights flickering, I think that's the cause of an old video card, because the one you own can't run most of the games nowadays.

my graphics card may be old but i can run quite a few new games on it the only thing old about it is the pixle shader..
the thing has 3D capabilities ... i can run GTA SA on max settings and run smooth GTA is way more demanding then this. it has more then enough cache and memory for the game i dont understand why its being a bitch

DirectX-based games are not OpenGL-based games. Your card may support DirectX enough to allow GTA:SA to run on max settings, but the OpenGL support is in question. The hpl.log doesn't inform us of your card's OpenGL support, which i find odd.

IT means u might not have openGL support on graphic card

heres my problem...

check the attached photo an you run it says my ati radeon x1200 can run it max setting
but i still have the problem with the overlaying floor and the lights spazzing ...
ive turned of post effects
ive updated my graphics card software ... im running the demo 1.1 and ideas

You seem to have a thread similar to this. You shouldn't post another thread. On topic: I'm not really sure what your problem is, can you try explaining the problem with more detail? Thanks ^^
