It's very hard to miss things like this.

RE: White Night - Total Conversion v1.1

				Hi,
After playing White night I thought the normal maps don't have any scary feeling so I re-normal mapped only one of the textured and got a screen shot,I have my own exclusive ways for new kind of result on normal maps and I call it an exaggerated normal map which is better for a scary game, anyway this is what I think and maybe no one else likes my idea.
But if the fans likes it and the owners of White night accept my idea I can do a whole re-normal map of this mod.
Here is the comparison screenshot:
(I didn't change the alpha map, changing it can raise the quality too)

I decided to do another one but this time I tried to changed the specular map too.
I know mine are not so real but I think they have more scary feeling.

These look great to me and I'd love to see some of these for even the original Amnesia files, made as an add-on for modders to use at their leisure. I think it would help put a bit more flair into the Custom Story scene - they look great sir.

Nice job!

Atmosphere is indeed the best.In Deterioration the atmosphere was something unique. It really frekaed me out because of that.It felt weird,alien...It was just something awesome.

So I grew some balls my dear Tanshaydar and tried playing White Night again, and I didn't believe it to be possible but...you've created something that creates a sense of palpable fear and dread stronger then The Dark Descent, yes there are a lot of other scary custom stories, but none of them created such a feeling.

The music, the atmosphere, the lighting, the sounds, all of it creates a feeling of terror, it's very much like Silent Hill, and that is amazing

http://s3.picofile.com/file/7365033117/A...Hotsun.jpg While making new bumpmaps is a good idea, I do however have to say that these needs to be redone, what your bumpmaps do is not create a higher quality feel to it, but rather makes the objects they are applied to look like rock/slimy rock. For example the tiles, they no longer look like normal tiles with these bumpmaps but like a rock with a square pattern carved into it. Ease down on the lower details in these maps and it'll look more realistic.
