Okay guys, i need some help. I'm performing the Have Disk method to update my drivers but when i get to the last point to update them, i get a warning message that reads that the driver is not verified and can put an end to my computer. I need to know if my computer can actually handle this before i send it into the dark blindly.
MY computer specs are
Operating systemL Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Model: HP Pavilion DV6 Notebook PC
BIOS: Default system bios
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Processor: Intel® Core i3 CPU 2.4 GHz
With graphics:
Chip: Intel HD Graphics core i3
and my main drivers: igdumd64.dll, igd10umd64.dll,igdumd.....(couldnt see the rest)
Help asap as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated.

Should not be a problem but if uncertain don't do it. Integrated graphics are not officially supported.

These messages are idiotic. It's because of OEM restrictions. Just continue...

Alright, it stated that the driver selected for this device doesn't support this version of windows even though this is the one that was recommended for this version of windows. Now what do i do?

you downloaded the wrong driver. Probably you have x64 windows but you are trying to install the x86 (32-bit) version.

follow this guide for your hp laptop: http://www.frictionalgames.com/forum/thread-9942.html

That isn't the case. The download for the driver specifically stated that the driver that i was to download was intended for Windows 7 64-bit

You sure that you don't happen to have a 32bit system instead?
