It's entirely possible to tell a story without text being shoved in your face. In fact, I would say atmosphere tells a story better than notes can. Why paint a picture with words when you have a canvas and a paintbrush right in front of you?

Decent guy indeed. And he has a decent story to back his decency up. Always remember, decent people say decent things and the only way to feel everything is to trust others' experiences. You don't live enough to feel everything for yourself.

Today I dreamt the life I could live forever. You only know that when you feel it for you know not what you like until you've experienced it.

So there can be "Display texts" ?

How you describe excatly that "- No irresverisble player configurations" Acies?

Like "No Fainting scripts for the player or dying, passing out etc."

Like "No Fainting scripts for the player or dying, passing out etc." player configurations are things like modified jump heights, move speeds and sanitydrain speeds for example that would be marked as default.

RE: Community project [get serious]! :)

This will work alot better if the OP will set construction rules to go by. This project reminds me of something similar, when a few people create conjoined pictures together in an hexagon shape. But that is only possible when each person shares where they are going, you can't create a bottomless pit and from there go to the surface.

Create a limited parameter for the campaign, and the modders will be able to fill in the gaps more easily.
If not, at least every person should say what he's /she's up to so the next person can build a reasonable segue so the transition will be smoother in contrast to post-edit the maps together by the OP.

As it is now, I only feel like it would end as a cluster-fuck of a mess. In that sense, try to have fun with it. Use this as a practice tool, I might make something aswell if this is still relevant.

I would certainly be up for this again, I'll have to have a little think about what I am going to make this time - i have a few ideas but i'm not sure how, um, possible they'll be
Edit:
I know exactly what i am going to do.

I guess I won't be participating to this 24 h challenge even though I came up with this great map idea. I've completely worn out of Amnesia map making now :S
