I remember reading somewhere that they were working a lot on the hub mechanic - there will definitely be safe havens.

More interestingly, they mentioned in an interview that they were having other characters which the player can talk to...

Yea i'm really interested if they will have characters to talk to. I think they never really showed a lot other people in Amnesia: The Dark Decent because of animation cost. You notice that when you find Agrippa he dose not have a mouth and he's all locked up so can't move so they can have less animation to do. And when you find Alexander he dose not even move his mouth when he's talking to you. I would really love to see other characters to make the story more interesting. But not to much people. So i can still feel that loneliness and dread.

I'm hoping that as well, I look forward to seeing/trying this game. Knowing Frictional Games, they most likely have monsters even more dangerous than the pig monster they'd been teasing.

I'm still love and impressed with the concept of exploring a whole town, not just a castle/mansion... who knows what secrets, puzzles, and horrors await!

I hope too that we will see something in January atleast that is fresh.

Anyway I'm still hoping one of the "more dangerous" monsters is a scary stempunk-looking robot.
