Seriously, we don't need the pewdie debates everywhere guys. Can't you just accept that he's going to play it the way HE wants to play it, and whoever likes that kind of thing CAN LIKE IT FOR FUCKS SAKE? If you don't like it, don't watch it. I believe he's already said somewhere that he's going to take AMFP seriously and not do what he does with some of the stories he plays. So just be happy with that, also know that what he's doing is actually helping amnesia in popularity, by a massive amount.

The only problem I have with it, is that whenever a new Amnesia, or any scary thing comes out, he's always the main association with it.
The only reason Slender became regarded as scary, is because a massive wave of dumb asses made videos of them, shitting themselves over it.
Then, a scourge of amateurs--with pitiful delusions of grandeur--come over here to flood the forum with awful custom stories, lacking both originality and thought, just so their Idol can offer ten minutes of stale, babbling idiocy!

So, yeah. Don't worry about me. I'm calm.

Really good, man. I liked it
My ideas are more like:
1. The machine is a way to obtain "vitae".
2. Mandus wants the machine as some kind of energy source, as he is a industrialist, and flesh is what the machine is feed by...

-Not exactly an original idea, nothing really witty or creative about this fic

Definitely agree there. I would have preferred to see this story end with a maddening hint or fact, reacted to with either acceptance, or calm helplessness on the old man's part. Something to really set the pace for whatever the protagonist faces; but doing so lightly .

I might watch some let's plays pf game I can't play, like for example Heavy rain, though in this case I had already watched TmarTn's LP) I rarely watch Let's Plays on their own either, but I love having them on the second monitor while working or while playing a game that doesn't require undivided attention (Minecraft, Don't Starve, FTL...). It's kinda like listening to a really cool radio station for me | |
