How old was Red when he died?

I remember there was some timeline in Black Plague, he was trapped when he was 15, and the game took place in 2001. But what year did the timeline say the mine collapsed? Or if so what was his age when he died?

If he WAS in there for 30 years, then it depends on the age of when he first went down.

If I remember rightly, he was a young teen.
