I've mentioned this before, but my favorite character build is always going to be to max out perception and specialize in throwing knives. Once you get to the point where you can deal consistent critical hits you are basically unstoppable

Fallout 3 and New Vegas are badass! I personally try to start on the stealthy side but it always blows up in my face and I end up a run and gun.

Sounds cool. I usually get a turbo plasma rifle and hardened power armor early on, they make you unstoppable.
