An error ocurred while updating AAMFP (disk write error)

So I'm all excited to open Amnesia and a little window says it's updating. And when it starts updating an error window pops out saying "An error ocurred while updating AAMFP (disk write error)" and nothing else. Help!

Edit: So it's getting worse, I tried closing and opening steam and now I can't even open steam because this pops up:
"Steam- Fatal Error
Steam Failed to load *steamStartEngine (0x12fb58) failed with error 1: Cannot open blob archive file: CMultiFieldBlob (mem-mapped file): Failed to open"
Never in my life have I seen this

Did you restart your computer? Restart it and close your antivirus program.

Sounds like a Steam error, I think the best is to try Steam for support.

When I have Steam issues, the first thing I try is to delete the ClientRegistry.blob file in the Steam folder.

Reinstall steam and delete the file Jens mentioned. Kind of a longshot, but it might be a disk error meaning a check disk is required.

I'm doing this via steam support scince its a steam issue, you can delete this thread if you please
