RE: SOMA Discussion Thread
Can't say as the gameplay did anything for me, but it's early days and I'm also not a huge fan of sci-fi horror in games (something about the sci-fi element takes away the visceral feel for some reason) - I far prefer the older settings as seen in TDD and AMFP.
But that's just personal preference and not a whine, bitch or moan. It's an observation.

RE: SOMA Discussion Thread
It looks as if the meat at the end was just to make it look as if it was a human brain, but in reality it was an artificial robot one. If he intended to reveal this to the character in the video then slicing himself like that makes sence.
Also, We hear a lot of first person dialouge in this, it makes me wonder if there will be a lot of that in the final game as well, or if it was just because this was another character anyway?
EDIT:
the "am I like Reznik" makes think, that perhaps he was not trying to show it, but rather he was trying to find out since he did not know himself, But he needed him to be there in order to confirm it.
The am I like Reznik would likely be hinting at that he went and looking at him himself before having his brain moved.

I hope they keep their word with this:
From the blog:
Quote:And do not worry, between now and the 2015 release there will be a lot more unsettling stuff revealed!
Mhh or I think I'll freeze myself until 2015... FG know how to hype me.
