Demo doesn't start - Intel 965 Express Chipset Family

Hi,


I have tried to play the demo today and faced many problems.
Have read all the threads here and have updated
all my drivers (of course with reboot etc), tried it with all possible
resolutions etc., but nothing helped.
At first I've got the error message with "fail to render/rendering" and
after reinstalling the graphic drivers, I've got that other error
message "Amnesia.exe caused..."...
I have a notebook with Intel 965 Chipset inside, 1.6GHz, 2GB RAM,
Win Vista 32 bit. Will attach the DxDiag and logfile.

I'm posting this only for the developers and for their information,
cos I can play the game on my bf's computer (windows 7 32bit
with nvidia geforce 9600 GT) without any problems. (Except that
one problem, that he also have a new game and want to play...)

It's not certain that the integrated graphics on that board is capable of playing the game. It might be able, but you will have to find the latest possible drivers available from Intels website and use those.

Hmmm, I think, I found my problem. I have found the newest drivers for my graphic card
(http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_D...0&lang=eng)
and have installed them, but if I look at the DxDiag file, there is still the old driver listed from 2008
and not from 2009 like it's wroted on the Intel website... So there might be my problem...

What if I have the latest drivers (2009) but it still won't start? I also have the Intel 965 Express Chipset Family . I really wanna play the game.

Intel 965 is not capable of running the game.
