I love how I have the capability of nearly breaking a modem and that I can cause After Effects to fall flat on its fucking ass and crash... Its just beautiful.

PC if it can handle it. If it needs the processing which Assassins Creed does (I have no idea on specs) and you can run that fairly smoothly, then by all means, PC.
Otherwise, I would go PS4, if you have one
Well, I have GTX680 OC, but I am worried of the optimization, the performance would be close to same or maybe even inferior. Ubisoft usually optimizes their games rather poorly, judging by my own experience.
For the sake of my brother, I'll be getting it on PS3 (haven't switched over to PS4 yet), saves me $79 on Steam when he'll be purchasing it himself and I'll just play it when he isn't home for the sake of spoilers ;3
It's still basically the same game, but tuned down, I think you and people who buy the game for ps3 in general, won't be missing much. The difference is not so big as ps2 versus ps3 for instance.
Maybe the most noticable is the pop-in textures. At least I can bear with them, saying as someone who has and still plays Gta V and Bf3 on the Ps3, especially bf3, the pop-ins are just laughable.
