I'd love it if all thought the same way, but reality is cold: The resolution, framerare and the system is a bigger thing than the games. No matter what multiplat or exclusive game is in question, they'll be lurking in the comment sections and attack when they feel it's necessary.

I haven't owned a console since PS2 though so maybe I'm not into the "war" enough, I still think it's silly. Since consoles are getting more and more architecurally similar to PCs, I don't really see the reason to get one either.

Even though Bioshock Infinte and Last Of Us, were highly critically acclaimed, they were not pitch perfect, they had their own pros and cons. There's no game witout a sin, except Goat Simulator.
