Well, it kinda looks like it. At the end of the gameplay trailer, you can see the screen is all twitching, and because we're playing from Simon's viewpoint, so Simon is the one who has those twitching (?).

Also, at the end of the gameplay teaser, when he says "Am I still Here?" you can clearley hear a robotic voice.

I think he's an androaid or something.

His hands appear when he falls off the ladder, though. So either we can't trust what we see, or he's human and his blackbox implant is somehow interfering with his vision.

Could be. But also, he can be androaid covered human-like skin, Like that.

Was discussing this with a friend earlier.

Pointed out that the game is from the characters point of view. If every robot "human" in the game doesn't realize they're a robot and thinks they're still a human, then it stands to reason the player is no exception. So even though we think we look human, it's very possible it's no different than everyone else confused about what they are. If we're looking through his eyes, then just because we see human hands doesn't mean that they're there.

Don't know if this should be a spoiler? I just find it incredibly likely to be the twist if there is one.

also if you watch the gameplay trailer you will notice when the "monster" passes by the player near the end the players screen is affected by interference or glitching of some sort.

i think it's pretty obvious after seeing that, that simon is a robot too. seems like a pretty big spoiler if you ask me :/

Well I think they should have been more careful about that. If he is a robot, so we kinda ruind 50% of the game. I mean, we already discovered who's really Simon.

This person had the same voice as Simon's so it's safe to say the person from the teaser is Simon too.

While the footage above is unedited gameplay footage (I played through and recorded it myself), it is not from an actual game level. Just like with our Amnesia teaser video, it is a custom made map that is meant to show off the general feel and tone of the game over a four minute long trailer. This means that it is not an exact representation of how the game is actually played. It gives a pretty good idea of how the gameplay works though.
