i've got the same problem that amnesia uses my intel graphic card instead of my nvidia gt 325m but it seems that i cannot deactivate it. i tried to deactivate it in my device manager but the card re-activates itself after the screen turns black for a minute.

oh and i have windows 7.

Strange... Cannot uninstall it somehow? Did you try restarting after disabling?
Also you need to be sure that your computer uses the proper non-intel card to start with.

it's kinda strange because whenever i start up a game it seems that it uses my nvidia chip (i'm playing dragon age origins with everything maxed out without any trouble) but when i want to switch resolutions for my desktop it shows the intel chip as the used card.

windows 7 is confusing.

Cannot turn it off on mainboard?
Usually there is a switch or something on these things. I know that was true for an integrated soundcard I had.

1.2 is required yes. It is a really old standard though (4 years or so), so every driver from 2006 or so should support it.

well the newest working driver i could find for my card is from 04.07.2007.. there is no support for my card in any newer drivers.. but is GLSL hardware or software? If its software ill try to find a solution but if its hardware maybe i will need to buy a better graphics card. damn dude today was going to be a great day to play the game its raining outside alotBig Grin
