Yeah there's tons of it. Microsoft collects a lot of info about you without your explicit consent. You agreed to the fine print.

They do have the ability to. Most likely they won't, but there's the chance that they do stumble upon whatever it is you're doing.

In general, this is what they collect:
- Random debug and system info that doesn't idenfity you (you can sometimes opt out of this)
- In windows 10, they collect screenshots of your computer (at least for some time after installation). They aren't even encrypted, so anyone with the know-how can view them.
- They allow themselves the right to snoop under any circumstances they deem appropriate. This is in their license. Basically they don't need a reason to snoop, but if you're on some legal watchlist, you'll probably be spied upon.
- Surely there's much more that I'm not even aware of.

We do our best to delete them on sight - but until the devs taking care of the forum update security/spam detection, all us purple text users can do is remove them when we visit.

Don't report the Korean spam, since we'll see it pretty much straight away, but please do report any other spam or things which should be brought to attention.

I used to report spam, but then I figured my spam reports were being spam. Nowadays I'll do it on lone posts in odd places or those I'm unsure of. The ones that take up 3 pages of threads I figure are too loud to hide from the police.
