Yeah, i'm waiting for it as well, but from what i understand from earlier posts is that they already sent the patch to them, it's just a matter of steam gettin around to applying it for us.

It's Bull!@#$!! 2 full days after the release of the patch and still no update from steam. Nothing against Frictional. I know they worked hard to get the patch released asap. Its very frustrating that I still cant play the game and i have to continue to wait.

New patch is finally available!

The most important fix is that for ATI X1000 series card (below X1000 might still have issues). Also included is a bunch of other fixes.

Note that this version does NOT work with Steam or Russian retail. A steam patch is in the works and should be released soon. All other stores such as our own, D2D and gamers gate work fine!

I get the error message:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft|.NETFramework\InstallRoot to point to the .NET Framework install location.

so I go read and find Vista doesn't support lower versions unless you re-install Vista! (reformat the harddrive)

Unfortunately, there is not an easy way of repairing the registry keys/values that are installed by Windows Vista like there is for files. If you want to try to repair the registry keys/values that are a part of the .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.0, you will need to run Windows Vista OS setup again and repair the OS. "unquote"
