Will Amnesia be available for consoles? No!

All the fucktards saying here that you're retarded as soon as you have a console... lol, people like you should be shot or sawed in half. It's like saying anyone who eats potatoes has the intelligence of a pig.

Anyway, Amnesia wouldn't fit for a console imo. It'd be too sluggy to turn around etc. from a monster spawn, annoying to lift/rotate items etc... so no. Also, developing for a console is pretty expensive. I don't think that this kind of game would fit anyway. It'd work better with an isometric view or point/click etc.

In most cases I would say "Yes, <insert game here> should be on a console," but in this case I have to say no.

Amnesia is all about immersion, and it's hard to get immersed in something like this when you're sitting a good distance away from it on a comfy couch with your friends who are either talking about the latest XYZ or shouting and laughing at you when you get chased and/or killed by monsters.

Note that this is all coming from a guy who hasn't updated his PC in 5 years, and thus was barely able to run Amnesia on his PC in the first place.

Absolutely, if the goal of FG as stated for Amnesia was 'availability' then it should be available...for anything they can make it available for.
